Darwin Street Art Festival 2018 | Portrait by Polly Johnson

Polly Johnson
2018

This was one of many murals painted for the Darwin Street Art Festival 2018 and my all time favorite. The festival aimed to highlight the Territory and Miss Polly chose a portrait of Artia, a local Indigenous / Mario descendant.

Miss Polly explains the colors incorporated into the mural are reflective of the land, sea and sky. Orange represents the soil,  blue tones for the ocean and pink tones reflect the amazing Territory sunsets.
