Fanny Bay | Aly De Groot

Darwin Public Art | Fanny Bay sculpture by Aly De Groot

Fun Fact: You can get to Fanny by taking Dick Ward Drive. I don't know who named this area or if they're named after people but it was a running joke when living in Darwin.

I have a few selfies of Aly De Groots jelly fish sculpture but most have been lost over time. It stands sentinel on the cusp of Fanny Bay and East Point and can be found at the entry to the East Point Reserve. It sets a nice tone for what you'll encounter in the reserve itself.
