Happy 400th post! I unfortunately can't tell you much about this sculpture. It's a larger than life Goanna sculpture which was placed in a local park in Ngunnawal to greet adventurers. It's not so much a park than a placement of land set aside and is exempt from urban development. From what I'm reading there are a few sites like this across Canberra, special to Aboriginal culture and have been preserved, or rather, left untouched.

This is amazing, there's a giant platypus in Ngunnawal too located at the platypus centre I think its still there
