So this ''Giant'' as he became known by Cootamindra has a long and colorful history.
First let me just mention, America has a series of humanoid sculptures called Muffler Men! There's about 6 characters and these amazing Muffler Men were brought and sold all around the country making one of the most challenging hobbies for American tourists.
This isn't the only 'Giant' in Australia. There are two more (That I know of) Unanderra, NSW and Bayswater, VIC.
This particular 'Giant' started at a Supermarket in typical American Muffler Man style. That supermarket changed hands more times than I have fingers. Eventually he was taken down, strapped to a car and accompanied then owner, Allan Jenkins, on an Australian lap of Aust on a Cancer Awareness tour after Allan himself recovered from Cancer.
Allan took the giant home and it resided on his property until he donated it to the Heritage Centre in 2014. The Giant was refurbished and displayed publicly in 2015.
