I had an old housemate tell me about these 'BIG Knitting Needles' he called it and while I didn't quite believe him I set off after our coffee to track them down. It's not quite what I was expecting but in the spirit of BIG Things and roadside fare it definitely ticks my box.
The Sculpture is called 'Jive' and it was created by Grant Fink in 2012
If you've been to the Laverton Train Station in the past 5 years you may have noticed Grants other sculpture (Mahers Rd)
