This is one of two murals at the Northbound Mokoan Rest Area. Nearby, and hard to miss, is a small painted water tank by Reset and across the Highway on the Southbound Rest Area are murals by Tim Bowtell.
This is one of several murals in the area by Andrew J Bourke. He completed another wall inside the Winton Wetlands Cafe a few kms inside the Wetlands.
The mural was a commission by VIC Roads. A wonderful initiative to encourage motorists to rest and take breaks by providing travelers with amenities and wonderful art to spot. The mural depicts a white bellied sea eagle and was painted in 2018
