John Dowie

This is quite possibly the oldest sculpture I've blogged so far. John Dowie was an Adelaide based artist with a long celebrated career as a sculptor. Depicted is a father raising an object of some kind out of reach of his young child. The plaque reads ''This Memorial to the Honorable Sir John Downer''
