Saltimbanque by Tim Kyle

‘Saltimbanque’ is another name for street performer or traveling entertainer.

This particular saltimbanque has lost his crowd though and sits forlorn in the courtyard of the Nishi Gallery in the New Acton Precinct. He was created by Tim Kyle who also created the 'Modern Man' sculpture at the end of Kendall Ln. Salimbanque was brought to life in 2010 and during festive holidays locals enjoy dressing him in scarves, hats and knitted coats
