Sydney Public Art | Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park sculpture

I haven't been on a proper Art Walk since March and it was a few months before that. I've been a little out of routine for awhile so I knew my first time out was going to be a mess. I told myself before I left the house 'Get off at Central and stick to the Ultimo walk'

I got off at St James and tried tying up loose ends in Haymarket before hitting the Ultimo area. 😂
It was about 2pm when I finally started my Ultimo walk and needless to say I didn't finish!

I passed this sculpture just outside the St James Station and I've seen it before. I struggle to recall when and whether I took photos. I may find them on this mess of a laptop one day. In typical Meg style I spent a lot of time taking photos and zero time looking for a plaque. I really like them though. I remember stopping at them the first time and just staring in awe. They hold quite a presence and are rather elegant. It took quite some time after making this post but I've since learnt this sculpture was created in 2002  by Stephen Glassborow and is called 'Angels of Hospitality'
