Mulga
2018

This site, the Telstra Exchange in Revesby, is home to two murals. One by Mulga and the other by Phibs. Mulga created this French Bulldog character named King Andre and in typical Mulga style here is King Andre's story.

I ran out of daylight for these last two murals and despite this both murals turned out rather well. I will return for better photos of both murals but until then, in the archive they go

Artists Statement

''An Ode to King Andre the French Bulldog

King Andre the bulldog was king of the bulldogs in france
He ruled with poochy wisdom and he loved to dance

A dance party at the palace he'd host every Saturday night
And all the doggy lords and ladies would dance with delight

One time he moonwalked for 15 minutes straight
Out in the gardens to all of his subjects delight

In sunnier Australian climes he liked to spend his winters so
Where his cousin lived who was called Bo Bo

In a grand old building is were Bo Bo did reside
A telephone exchange it looked to the naked eye

But a wonder of design it was within it's walls
A luxurious oasis for dogs who walked it's halls

So that's the story of Andre and Bo Bo
Two regal poochies and also bros

The End''
