The Boab Prison Tree
This tree reminds me of the Johnny Depp / Christina Ricci Movie; Sleepy Hollow. Amazing movie about the Headless Horseman collecting victims and stuffing their bodies in a tree.
The Story of the Prison Tree, a tree prisoners were chained to and left until another chain of custody collected them. A literal dead drop of people between jurisdictions and the only shelter was inside the tree.
I enjoyed the boab tree's they were wonderfully unusual and since I only recall them in this region it made the area unique. I found the landscape changing dramatically around this area. So wonderful
