I've seen this titled as a 'BIG Wave' maybe it is for Australia but in New Zealand when waves were tall and I was small I remember them being a fair big bigger than this. I'm revoking it's 'BIG' title and simply calling this a wave. It's a business icon for the 'Canoe & Surf' store on William Street.

There's a similar 'wave' in Phillip Island which makes me wonder if it once was featured on top of the  Rip Curl store before being placed on the ground and being utilized as a cool tourist photo opportunity.
