Justin Michaels mural was one of two artists awarded funding by the City of Liverpool when submissions opened for culturally diverse murals. Liverpool wanted to celebrate it's diverse and growing culture and I guess couldn't decide between a pure symbolic mural of growth by Phu Nguyen and honoring Australia's Indigenous so they approved both.
Michael's mural features the rainbow serpent, the Southern Cross and the words Liverpool running vertically with all seemingly intertwined.
