Poppy Star
Aussie skateboarder Poppy Star Olsen is a talented young lady. I wondered why there was a helmet on the adjacent box and after discovering the artists account have learnt Poppy uses art as a side hustle and has completed a couple of Signal Boxes for the Waverley Council.
You'll have to scroll a fair bit for confirmation this is her work but her boxes do feature on her skateboarding IG account. Poppy has created at least two signal boxes, that I found, and gosh knows how many more.
This box is located on the corner of Bondi Rd & Ocean Street. The artist gas played upon the Bondi AND Street name theme and painted a sea theme depicting fishes
