I'm not really sure what this mural it. Half obscured by tree it's found on the side of a building on Botany Road in Alexandria.

Ultimo | Mulga the Artist

Mulga 2016 I don't think I've ever come across an artist who puts more effort into their work than Mulga does. I enjoy everything about the artists work, from the visual treat to the strange story he gives every character. The artist has 2.8k posts on Instagram and while not all his posts are murals every.single.mural has it's own story. I like the investment. I often wonder why or what the artist was thinking when they paint. Mulga's seems to spend a great deal of time thinking of backgrounds for his character 😂 A statement from the Artist "An Ode to Three Rad Birds There were these birds and they were pretty rad Whenever someone met them they'd be really glad They always had the best time any time of day If there was some fun to be had you know they'd find a way Rory the Rosella would always have a strawberry smoothie Walking around with his five panel looking pretty groovy Mitchell the Cockatoo had the sweetest of green coats It was good for the shops

Kemps Creek | Chick out this peck

BIG Chicken | The BIG Chook sits in the front yard of a Kemps Creek egg farm which advertises as being in Mt Vernon. The address places it in Kemps Creek so I'll leave as is until rezoning happens. She's surrounded but a fence and the gates were closed. I usually don't mind sneaking into or around things if I have access but passive entry only gets you some leeway and I didn't feel comfortable opening their gates. It's the typical wire cattle fencing though so it wont interferer to much with a photo of it but will put a damper on a selfie. Best you can do it make your selfie interesting 📍 Crn: Mamre Rd + Mount Vernon Rd, Kemps Creek
