'Open Spaces' by Melbourne based artist is hard to miss among the gray buildings surrounding Australia Square.
It stands alongside a building that in it's completion in 1976 was the tallest building in Sydney. It's stands as a colorful reminder that in the pursuit of building and gushing over the ''tallest building'' we find balance with wide open spaces.
The artwork has four structures. Each, a somewhat abstract letter, spelling the word 'Open' with the centerpiece being the letter P
At the top of the stairs, where I stood to take this photo, you'll find the fourth and last piece completing this sculpture along with a plaque.
