Two things!
Firstly, this ISNT a BIG Rainbow, who ever started that trend or tries to keep it going needs a good kick in the pants. While a 'BIG Thing' can be any popular roadside attraction I really wouldn't be going out of my way for this one. It's a play on sculpture for the towns name and not overly exciting or creative.
Secondly.... I forgot my second point after my rant,
I would label this as Kitsch. A tacky but fun tourist draw card. It comes across as the towns entry statement but its in the middle of town (near the intersection of Federal & Taverner) and hosts the towns touristy activities.
