Drapl and The Zookeeper

I LOVED this tank!! It combined something relatable, a local child indulging in an innocent game, with the richness of the towns history without being overly bland or blatantly historical. Hughenden is in the thick of the dinosaur touristy belt and selecting dinosaurs for the child to play with is just the perfect way to blend such a rich history into a modern mural in such a fun and whimsical way.

This mural was completed in June 2021, it's the second tank in town to have undergone a make over and surprisingly only took the duo 5 days to see to fruition. Hughendens first painted tank can be found on the corner of Alyss St and Saleyards Rd.
