David W Houghton
There are a few names attached to this painted tank other than the talented Mr Houghton. Ryan Sullivan, Mr Mupz and a name I'd seen in Townsville a few times; RC Collective who might actually be Mr Mupz.
It was a 2019 project that resulted in a spectacular tourist attraction for Mount Isa. The tank comprises of 4-5 feature images. 2 local fish species; the brim and barramundi, a varied lorikeet I neglected to capture, possibly due to not enough room on the right side. A Kalkadoon grass wren and a black shouldered kite. I felt it quite neat the walking platform could be walked and photographed from to gain some elevation for some of these photographs.

I visited this tank at 1730 and while there wasn't much in the way of parking (perhaps 6-7 bays) only one was free when I pulled up. I wouldn't recommend towing a trailer or caravan to the lookout.
