Melbourne CBD - BIG Eagles

 

So here's one you may not have noticed before or have seen too much of. I'm my early days of BIG Thing Hunting and creating my map I looked for EVERYTHING I could find that was oversized to add to add to my art wish list. These giant eagles by Bruce Armstrong was no exception. Of course if you knew of his signature work ''Bunjil'' you'd realize these are a pale comparison of the much bigger version but in the spirit of documenting everything I've photographed to help others explore these smaller sculptures can be found adorning the entrance to the Grand Hyatt Melbourne
