Julia Volchkova
One of the things I love about building this blog is the things I learn along the way. This silo in Rupanyup is the first silo created by a woman. I'm not much of a feminist and frankly I would have thought this to be the work of Guido van Helten but it is nice to see new and emerging artists.
Russian artist Julia chose two community members engaged with the towns sporting clubs. Julia chose a woman (25 year old, Ebony Baker) and man (16 year old ,Jordan Weidemann) to paint on the local grain bins and she's done an amazing job.
