Lake Wendouree!

I was told this was Lake bugger off! an endless source of amusement for me and while it's not quite accurate it's close enough. We spent a few hours here being shown around Ballarat by a family friend. 

I'm not usually one to take photographs of parks or landscapes but I found myself being quite the shutter bug here. My partner informed me all about the black swans. I bet they're still tasty, even if we cant eat them

Of course I noticed the Public Art. A Lotus flower that acted as a barrier for this small walking bridge and if you look closely in the bottom third picture, next to the gazebo, you'll see a flower clock.
There's a few of these in VIC one being in SouthBank, Melbourne.
