I first stumbled upon this tiny sculpture in early 2019 when we first moved to Albury. It was placed next to a purple sitting bench with bright orange trim. It was a strange spectacle.
The bench and sculpture was removed in 2020 when the lane was revamped for the UpStream festival.
I assumed the bench was removed for repair as it had a missing a beam running across the seat but it hasn't been replaced and the shoes haven't reappeared. Very disappointing!
