Alright, I have yabbies but oh what a beauty this interactive sculpture is. Agency of Sculpture is one of my favorite Public Artists. Everything he makes is unique and over the top.
For those not aware of the name Benjamin Gilbert he's the creator of the BIG Wheelbarrow in Clyde, VIC. He also created the Sun Moth playground in Craigieburn, The BIG Acorn Playground in Canberra and I can think of a few other examples but I wont drone on.
In 2018 Agency of Sculpture was commissioned to construct the Great River Road Sculpture Trail. It consists of 4-5 interactive sculptures and each installment is utterly fascinating.
This sculpture is located at a road side stop at the bridge connecting Victoria to New South Wales. It's on the New South Wales side and as you can see in the video is quite unusual.
The rest of the installments from this sculpture trail can be found in Khancoban, Tintaldra & Jim Newman's Lookout. There's also an eagle somewhere on this trail but I completely missed it
