I have a lot of interests including coins so I'm well aware this is less of a coin and more of a medallion. This wonderful embellishment for Jaggards is actually imprinted on both sides with the same image.
The coin depicts the Gold Sovereign on one side but doesn't depict the Queens image on the obverse. Perhaps it's out of respect, perhaps they couldn't bring themselves to cheapen their business with a giant replica or perhaps it's illegal as we cant replicate money even if it's an oversized image? who knows.
I liked it though. I snapped this photo coming out of Sydney's first lockdown. It was difficult to get a people free photo of. I'm glad I was able to take the photo before Sydney got back into full swing.
