This python decorates the hand rail to the snake and reptile exhibit within Toronga Zoo. I first photographed it in 2016 while on a holiday in Sydney and deeply regretted not taking better photos.
We ended up moving to Sydney in 2020 and I was fortunate enough to return while playing tour guide to a Melbourne friend on a visit. When I find those photos I'll make a better post.
He is quite huge for a snake but for a python probably not so much. He is very cool though!
