I'd previously seen photos of this mural and I have to say I was quite excited to find it. I wasnt expecting to rock up and be confronted by a gate and fence screening that I felt really ruined the focus of the mural.
The mural was painted on the side of a clock repair store and since it's origins the brick fence has been added to obscuring the Swiss Alp's that make the other half of this painting.
Mr Doley has completed 4 murals in the area and I'm a little miffed tonight to learn there's one in Ashfield I completely missed. Next time you pesky mural. According to Meatloaf. 3 outta 4 aint bad
