1995
Every one seems to know Biggles was a character of a dog. A statue created through crowd funding between the locals to honor the local dog that brought joy to the community through various balcony jumping, cat chasing and urban exploring adventures.
I couldnt find a plaque to explain where Mr Biggles died in 1995 nor that the sculpture was brough to life by Anne Dybka.
The sculpture does appear to have moved several times though. He now resides outside the Tea Cosy Cafe on Atherden Street and keeps the knitters company while the sip their coffee's and knit their time away
