I almost missed this one believing this water tower was in Lismore, NSW, not Lismore, VIC. Our states need to come up with some more creative town names rather than simply reusing them.
This water tower was Jimmi's first silo artwork which was completed in 2020. He's since gone on to complete a water tank in Evoca, VIC (2021) and murrumbateman, NSW (2023)
It's a beautiful water tower and makes for one amazing drive as the area is home to roughly 14 other painted Silo, water towers and water tanks in Eastern VIC not to mention all the murals and sculptures in between. If you have a spare 3-4 days I highly recommend the silo trail.
The tower is easily spotted on High Street / Hamilton Highway. It's located on the East side of town at the Fairway Coffee and Eatery which backs onto the Lismore Golf Course.
