This project was approved in 2017 and completed in 2018. It features three locals refugees who found their way to Australia for the opportunity of a better life . The council wanted to emphasis the importance of migrants and refugees and the importance they play within our community.

Three local residents were selected to have their stories told and portraits painted to emphasis compassion and tolerance within their community.

In order from bottom left to bottom right is Dora Adair (Ireland), Kaninda Bijimba (Congo) and lastly Dharshini Suntharam (Sri Lanka)

Each individual fled dire conditions in their home country and now reside in Australia. The water tower can be seen from afar and sits within Victoria Park on Hyland Street
