Nestled within the confines of the playground area of Dan Gleeson Memorial Garden is a series of artworks by Claudia Williams. The main artwork very much feels like a Fifth Element scene with large stone tablets, all etched with patterns, surrounding a few colored center tablets. It almost feels like the outer tablets unlock the center tablets and whooosh .... a portal of light from within the center stones activate

Leading to this artwork the artist has created four large circular mosaic. These discs are found at key junctions along the path with each disc also having it's own theme. Upon my second visit to this park I discovered one of the discs to be severely damaged. I wasn't sure if this was damage due to a felled tree or a vandal causing unnecessary damage. Both visits though I was unable to get clear pictures of two of the discs due to shade from overhead tree's. I resolved to return on an overcast day but it just never happened.
