This was my last stop for this stretch of the Canal to Creek trail I completed. I began in Arncliffe and finished in Beverley Hills. A few installments are yet to be installed and I'm uncertain where those installments will be.
This artwork by Dan Templeman is titled 'Eight Rings' The artists intention was to create an artwork that when approached would appear to be a simple set of golden rings. As the viewer walks past the sculpture the rings will move / grow with the viewer to become a series of paths and loops.
I did approach this artwork on the two ring angle and neglected to take a photo from that angle. I really wish I had of. I feel like I need to read the artists statements before visiting their work to really appreciate and capture the essence of their creations.
