BIG Apple
Interestingly, this isn't the original BIG Apple. I didn't know that for quite some time. The original Apple was a red fiberglass creation, it was significantly bigger than this one but due to the elements and age had to be put out to pasture. I'm not sure when it was created but I have seen photos dated as far back as 2009.
In 2012 the Fiberglass apple was replaced with the BIG Apple we see today. New management took the reigns in 2020 and commissioned Leianne Ivankovic & some fella named Tony to paint the sculpture and wow! Won't I be going back a third time

I remember my mother taking me to orchards when I was growing up, fruit was so much cheaper then.
