Remnants of an old WWII ship graces the shoreline of the Brays Bay Reserve. It's one of many instillations along the Kokoda Memorial Walk and pays homage to the laborious hands that worked tirelessly to see supplies, materials, equipment and transport made and distributed during our countries involvement in the 1939-1945 War.

It began raining a spell before arriving at this sculpture and while the rain wasn't heavy it was constant and really not good for an electric scooter. I was in a hurry to get out from the open and find shelter I neglected to take photographs of this from different angles. There's a much better angle from the back making the sculpture appear more like a boat than an abandoned debris field.
